Steel beams with timber fascia - Ref 3977
A steel beam fitted with a timber fascia gives the appearance of an all timber bridge and is an ideal solution for bridge spans around 11 - 20m. The European Redwood softwood fascia was fitted to galvanised, cambered steel beams to give a natural timber appearance to this bridge on the banks of Loch Fyne. The bridge parapets are softwood Type A (vertical infills) and the deck is softwood with Hi-Grip Excel non slip inserts.
